This review is a few days late, but better late than never I guess lol On 2/17, I tried Charlie's for the first time because one of my favorite pizza places off of Naaman's Rd has been severely lacking in effort and quality lately. I remembered seeing online reviews on how good Charlie's is, and I came here to say those reviews were spot on! I live in N. Wilmington next to Claymont, and I can't believe it took me so many years to discover this hidden gem. Now, when it comes to pizza, I like to be different and my all-time fav is a cheese pizza w/ jalapenos and pineapple because I'm a sucker for sweet and spicy. I ordered a medium on a whim, and an order of cheese fries, and my goodness, I was over the moon for how good my food was! They use fresh jalapeno slices, and the pineapple was more of a crushed pineapple, as opposed to chunks, and I absolutely loved it! The cheese fries (crinkle cut w/ a side of cheese) were perfectly salted and super tasty as well! I will definitely be ordering from here again. I'm obsessed w/ provolone cheese hoagies and mozzarella sticks too, so those will probably be the next items that I try. Highly recommend Charlie's!!! 10 out of 10!

Moved to claymont five years ago and this is my first time going to Charlie's don't understand how that happened. but me and my wife just had their Stromboli's and it was the best we ever had. My New favorite pizza place.

I stopped next door to charge my car and walked over to Charlie's. A hidden jewel I will be going to when I return to Subaru Park in PA for a game. I had the chicken parm sandwich. The bread was toasted to perfection, the chicken was crispy and the sauce was on point. The steak in the loaded fries was soft and the cheese. When you visit notice how the chef uses timers to make sure every item that comes out is cooked to perfection. I was impressed.

The wings, cheesesteaks, burgers, hot sausage, chicken sandwich and don't forget the amazing Pizza! The staff is awesome, especially Adam! Charlie's is our go to spot in Claymont!
